Mapquest Map Directions to Daylily Chalet ~11 Miles, Travel time approximately 15 minutes 1. Turn left on Route 141 2. Drive 3.3 miles and turn right onto Rowland Hill Road 3. Drive 1.2 miles and turn right onto Daylily Drive (gravel/dirt road) 4. Drive .4 mi and turn right (look for sign on tree that says ?434?) 5. Drive .2 miles and turn right onto our driveway at the top of the hill (look for sign on post that says "434") From Murphy: ~13 Miles, Travel time approximately 15 minutes 1. From Spur 60 and US 64/74 (the "four lane"), head towards Andrews 2. Drive 11.1 miles and right onto Old Peachtree 3. Drive .2 miles and turn left at the stop sign (Old Peachtree Rd. continued) 4. Drive 1.3 miles and turn left onto Rowland Hills Drive 5. Drive .2 miles and turn left onto Daylily Drive (gravel and dirt road) 6. Drive .4 mi and turn right (look for sign on tree that says "434") 7. Drive .2 miles and turn right onto our driveway at the top of the hill (look for sign on post that says "434") From Asheville, North Carolina: 105 Miles, Travel time approximately 2½ hours 1. Begin I-40 West 2. Continue on I-40 to Exit 27. 3. Take Exit 27. This exit is easy to miss. Exit sign reads "Franklin, Murphy, Atlanta." 4. 4. Proceed on US 74 West, by-passing the towns of Waynesville, Cherokee, Sylva and Bryson City. The four-lane then becomes two-lane US 19/74 West as you approach the Nantahala Gorge. You will travel about 15 miles before entering Cherokee County at Topton. A few miles later the road widens to a four-lane, just East of Andrews. Continue on the four-lane past Andrews. 5. Follow the directions above From Andrews. From Atlanta, Georgia: 125 Miles, Travel time approximately 2½ hours 1. Begin on I-75 North 2. Take Exit 268 (North 5/North I-575) 3. Drive 30.3 miles; I-575 becomes North 5/North 515 4. Drive 41 miles; continue on Highway 515 5. Drive 3 miles and turn left at light (just after Ford dealership on the left) onto 60 North (two-lane road) 6. Drive 2 miles and turn right onto Spur 60 (another two-lane road) 7. Drive 7.8 miles and the two-lane becomes a four-lane 8. Drive 4.7 miles and turn right onto US 64/74 9. Drive .9 miles; US 64/74 also becomes N 19/129 10. Drive 11.1 miles 11. Follow the directions above From Murphy. From Chattanooga, Tennessee: 85 Miles, Travel time approximately 2 hours 1. Begin on I-75 North 2. Exit onto US 64 Bypass. 3. Continue on US 64 Bypass to US 64 East. This road becomes two-lane for a time while it meanders through the Ocoee Gorge. After approximately 20 miles it widens to four-lane again. Crossing the North Carolina state line, you have entered Cherokee County and the road becomes US 64/74. Continue approximately 20 miles to Murphy. 4. Follow the directions above From Murphy. |
