Nestled in the woods high on a mountaintop (elev. 1700), Daylily Chalet is still surprisingly close to the towns of Murphy and Andrews, North Carolina. There are many activities you can enjoy, such as white-water rafting, fishing, boating, and some of the best motorcycling roads in the world. You can hike on our 6+ acres of private land down to the creeks on the property, or stroll down the lane to the Valley River nearby. Or you may simply want to relax in the hot tub or in a rocking chair on the covered wrap-around porch and enjoy the spectacular mountain views.
As a fully-appointed chalet, the master bedroom loft features a king size bed and full bath, while the main floor has a bedroom with a queen bed, a full bath, kitchen, living room, dining area, and stone wood-burning fireplace. The basement has a washer/dryer, wood stove and a finished bedroom with 2 single beds. Whether you stay for a long weekend or for a month, our home is equipped with everything you need for an enjoyable stay. Just bring your toothbrush! The property features another cozy, adorable little cabin aptly dubbed the ?Dawg House?. The Dawg House can be utilized as an additional sleeping room, a playhouse, or a retreat for reading and relaxing. It features a wrap-around porch, a double Futon, a loft, a sink (additional water hookup required), books and games, and plenty of windows. Central heating and air conditioning, ceiling fans, satellite TV, linens, paper goods, and some essential staples such as flour, sugar, and spices are provided for your convenience.
