This agreement constitutes a contract between the Guests and Owner, Cori DePratter.

CHECK-IN TIME begins at 3 PM. Call Cori DePratter, 386-965-2916, in advance to arrange for house keys. Owner will use all reasonable efforts to have the cabin ready for guest occupancy at check-in time, but cannot guarantee the exact time of occupancy.

CHECK-OUT TIME
is prior to 11 AM. Please be prompt as to allow us to have adequate time to prepare the cabin for the next guests and return all keys to the designated location before leaving to avoid additional charges.

RESERVATION REQUIREMENTS
- To secure a reservation, mail a $200 reservation deposit and this signed Rental Policy and Agreement to:

Owner accepts certified funds, money orders, and checks drawn on U.S. Banks. Owner must receive the reservation deposit and signed Rental Policy and Agreement within 3 days after booking has been made or the reservation will be canceled. Owner cannot accept personal checks on reservations made less than 30 days prior to arrival. . Balance of rental fee is due two weeks prior to arrival in certified funds, money order, or traveler’s checks. Please reference reservation dates when sending check or money order.

CANCELLATION
- A $30 administration fee is assessed for all cancellations; however, there will be no refund for cancellations occurring less than thirty (30) days prior to arrival date. For a refund of reservation fee, cancellations must be in writing and postmarked, faxed or emailed 30 days prior to arrival date (less a $30 administration fee) TO:

NO-SHOW POLICY - The total amount of the rental will be billed along with a $30 administration fee.

RETURNED CHECKS
- A $35 service charge will be incurred for any returned checks.

CONFIRMATION - Confirmation of the reservation will be mailed, faxed or emailed to Guests upon receipt of the reservation deposit and a signed Rental Policy and Agreement. Please read the confirmation for accuracy of dates, mailing address, number of adults and/or children and accommodations. Report any errors to Owner within seven (7) days of mailing. Pay close attention to the number of persons on the confirmation. Occupancy is limited to REGISTERED GUESTS ONLY. Absolutely no overnight visitors are allowed without prior arrangements made in advance in writing to Owner.

ADDITIONAL GUESTS
- Daylily Chalet sleeps up to 6 guests. Additional guests, (more than the Rental Policy and Agreement states), must be pre-approved by Owner and there will be an additional charge of $20 per person per night.

KEYS - All keys must be returned to the designated location upon Check Out unless other arrangements have been made with Owner. Guests are responsible for lost keys. In the event the keys are lost or not returned, the property must be re-keyed and Guests will be responsible for the cost of this procedure.

FIREPLACE - Daylily Chalet has a fireplace and a woodstove. Wood is provided free of charge for your convenience. Please be considerate when burning the wood.

NO SMOKING - Smoking is not permitted inside either cabin. Smoking is permitted outside but please do not litter.

ALOCHOLIC BEVERAGES - By law, no persons under the legal age of 21 is allowed to consume alcoholic beverages.

PETS - Sorry, but pets are not allowed at Daylily Chalet.

CHALET FURNISHINGS & EQUIPMENT
- Daylily Chalet is privately owned with furnishings and equipment provided by the Owner. Moving of furniture is prohibited. If you require special appliances or equipment, please bring them with you. Furnishings are subject to change without notice.

LINENS & SUPPLIES - Daylily Chalet is supplied with bed linens, towels, blankets and pillows. These items are not changed during your stay. Owner also provides your initial supply of paper products, soaps, detergents, cleaning supplies, trash bags, etc. for your convenience.

CHALET DESCRIPTION AND RATES
- Information regarding Daylily Chalet is believed to be accurate but cannot be guaranteed. Although the Owner has made every effort to ensure that all the information on the Owner’ website is current and accurate, the possibility of errors and omissions still exists. The Owner will be happy to confirm all the information or answer any questions prior to booking your reservation. Rates, furnishings, fees and taxes are subject to change without notice. Current rates for daily and weekly stays are found on the website at www.NorthCarolinaRentalCabins.com. Rental rates are based on a maximum of 6 Guests. Rates for holidays, special events and weekends may be slightly higher. Rates do not include 10% NC tax, a $100 refundable security deposit, or a $50 cleaning fee. Daylily Chalet can be rented for a three-night minimum stay. A minimum stay of four, five, or seven nights may apply during holidays & specific times of the year. Weekly stays can run from Friday, Saturday, or Sunday arrival/departures. Call Owner to make other arrangements. Final rent payment is due two weeks prior to arrival.

FEES AND TAXES - A $200 reservation deposit is due within 3 days of making the reservation. Additional costs are a $50 cleaning fee, a $100 refundable security deposit, and 10% NC Tax.

EXTRA SPA CLEANING - The spa is cleaned prior to your arrival. There is a $100 charge if you wish to have an additional cleaning of the spa during your stay. Instructions are provided at the cabin for proper operation and easy maintenance during your stay.

CHECK OUT PROCEDURES
- Please comply with the following items prior to check-out:
* All litter should be picked up from the yard and placed into a trash bag.
* Please lock all windows and doors, set A/C to 78°F or heat on 55°F, depending on the season.
* The cleaning fee charged covers a housekeeper laundering linens, making beds, cleaning floors, dusting furniture, spa and fireplace cleaning, and trash removal. Please wash the used dishes prior to your departure and place all perishable garbage in bags and place in large trash receptacle in the basement. Thank you.

REPAIRS AND SERVICE CALLS
- Owner cannot guarantee against mechanical failure of heating, air conditioning, spa, satellite TV, VCR, DVD, CD players or other appliances. Please report any equipment that is not operating properly to Owner. Owner will make every effort to resolve the problem as quickly as possible. Should a repairperson make a visit to Daylily Chalet and find the equipment in working order and the problem was due to Guests’ oversight or neglect, the charge for the service will be the Guests’ responsibility. All maintenance repairs must be reported to Owner between 9 AM and 5 PM. Guests understand and agree that Owner or its repair people might need access to the chalet for the purpose of making the repair.

REFUNDS - Refunds or rate adjustments are not made for any inconvenience due to construction noise, road condition or repairs, early departures, delayed arrivals or reducing the number of nights reserved with less than 30 days notice. No refunds or reschedules due to inclement weather.

TERMINATIONS BY OWNER - Owner strives to comply with your reservation requests. Owner shall not be liable for events beyond Owner’s control that may interfere with your visit. This may include but not limited to acts of God, acts of governmental agencies, fire, war, inclement weather and construction noise. No rebate or refund will be offered in these circumstances. Owner will try to offer comparable dates at the same rate satisfactory to you or you can receive a complete refund of your reservation deposit. Owner will attempt to give you as much notice as possible so other arrangements can be made.

HOUSE PARTIES ARE NOT ALLOWED - Guests understand that Owner will accept Rental Policy and Agreements from responsible adults over the age of 21 only. Guests agree that no more than the number of persons listed on the rental agreement shall occupy the premise overnight. If more than the number of persons stated occupies the unit, the result may be a loss of security deposit and/or additional charges to you. Guests shall not disturb or offend any neighbors, discharge firearms or use fireworks of any kind in accordance with State of North Carolina and Cherokee County laws.

Owner reserves the right to refuse service to anyone. Daylily Chalet is leased without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin or handicap.
